I have samsung galaxy tab S 10.5 wifi tablet, SM-T800, that is constantly boot looping.
codename: mmb2k.T800xxs1cri5
csc-code : T800xxs1ci5
Product Code: XAC
I want to flash Marshmellow 6.0.1, how do I fine/download this rom file from your site? I seem to find everything else but this one. Is there a generic flash file to substitute? Will XSG T800XXS1CQD2 from your site list work on this tablet?
Thanks, Jim.
Hi Jim. Yes, you can comfortably flash the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 WiFi T800 XSG firmware to yours. The XSG is the CSC code is for the United Arab Emirates region.
Thank you for your reply, So XSG will work in place of XAC-T800xxS1CRI5 which is Samsung’s default f/w for my region. Does the XSG flash leave the tablet in readable English (which I want) is my next question. I’m thinking, no. It’s good to know flashing with xsg will not brick it tho. I don’t want to attempt flashing until I know I have all ducks in a row. I have experience and success with sp-flash-tool on non-Samsungs but this tablet is my first rodeo with Samsung with Odin3 or Heimdall
My regards and thank you, jim
Hi Jim, I have updated the T800 firmware links to include that of XAC Canada 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The first link is very fast while uploaded.net and rapidgator will need premium membership to increase download speed.
Let me know if you have any other issue or fears.
Thank you so much! The first link offered me a “Hash not exist in db!Back to Home Page”, msg. So, not being in any particular hurry, I choose Rapidgator to DL from. Left it transferring overnight, took just over 4 hrs but, this morning I have the XAC file f/w in /home folder. Very happy with that.
On the DL’d XAC-T800XXS1CRI5-20181210170849.zip I ran md5sum which gives me: f2feecd32cf8da13fb8fee360521c834
Is this verifiable to be correct md5 hash for this XAC~.zip file? Or is that the hint given in first link, – that a hash is non existent in your db for this file. I’m probably being over cautious. Again, thanks for patching in the new links, so much easier for me.
Sorry about that. The “Hash not exist in db! Back to Home Page”, message you got isn’t related to the firmware. This is because each download from that website has a unique ID (hash) and that expires after a while or if your network changes.
Don’t worry, the file you downloaded will definitely work!
Sorry for my final report delay. The rom file flashing was a success! After pressing Start in Odin3 it took about 5 minutes to complete Bootloader, then a ‘long’ wait without progress indication, for either Success or Failed, after 10 hours, yes 10 hours, I got red “Failed” indicator. I ignored the “…had issues…” msg on tablet screen. Restarted Odin 3.13.1 to reflash and it seemed to pickup where it left off and finished the flashing with green ‘Success’ indication in 3 min. 49 sec. Tablet has been working fine ever since (Nov 21). A very weird process but it worked in my case. Patience seems to be key. Or maybe luck. Hope this helps others trying for first time.
Thank you so much for the feedback. I am happy you have got your Tablet working again and in a really good state. Enjoy!
My gratitude for your support, thank you. I will comment back on the flashing success or failure. Don’t hold your breath, I may be awhile as I fumble going fwd with installing tool(s).
